Traditional Letter 1

Dear Oliver,

The year has really flown by and Christmas is almost here! I just love making presents for all my friends around the world, and soon I’ll fly in to Texas to bring your Christmas surprise. It’s my favorite stop in Georgetown and I can’t wait to start my trip!

One of the great things about living at the North Pole is that it’s always the perfect weather for sipping hot cocoa, and I never get tired of hot cocoa! Not too long ago, Mrs. Claus and a few elves decided to surprise me with some different flavors. The funny part was that each batch looked exactly the same, but tasted very different! There was one cup that looked like plain hot cocoa, but had a peppermint flavor to it – YUM! There was another cup that looked plain, but had a hint of orange flavor – DOUBLE YUM! And then the last cup…well, it looked like plain hot cocoa, but when I took a sip, it tasted just like chocolate and peanut butter candy – WOW!!! What kind do you think you would like best?

We’ll be coming to see you before you know it, Oliver, so please keep being good so we can stop by with presents for you. Have a wonderful winter and a merry Christmas!

Love,

Santa Claus

P.S., I am extra busy this year so please tell Skylar I’ll bring presents there, too!
